Meredith at Caveat NYC

Meredith BRANDT

Meredith Brandt is a Brooklyn-based, Philly-‘burbs bred comic, actor, writer, singer, lyricist, viral video-maker, emcee, producer, brand strategist, clown, and Twizzler lover. (No lie, she can eat a full 2 lb bag of Twizzlers in one sitting. It's pretty wild.)

Meredith's been performing professionally for over two decades, ranging from the commercial world (ask her about her fave gig, it involved a lot of donuts) to the comedy circuit to the stage and screen.

The sketches, shows, and songs she's written have been staged all across the region, from the NYC Fringe Festival (where her show Joy Ride won the Audience Choice Award) to the Write Out Loud Song Contest (where her song "Totally Rock" was a recent finalist). She's a member of the Advanced BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Writing Workshop and has a slew of new musicals in the works.

Meredith loves uplifting the work of awesome creators and bringing folks together, whether that's at her recurring variety shows at Caveat NYC or through the creative accountability meet-ups she hosts for a group of over 85 mulithyphenate artists. She also loves creating with and for kids; she's especially loved guest teaching and serving on the board of a Philly youth theatre and film company.
